RECLAMATION PLAN EXHIBIT D <br /> 1. General Reclamation Plan <br /> The total permit area is 9.5 acres. The amount of land that will be disturbed is 7.4 acres. <br /> Operations will disturb 5 acres of currently undisturbed land in the permit area. Reclamation will <br /> be conducted over all of the mining area at once at the end of mining. All disturbed areas will be <br /> reclaimed as rangeland. See Map E-3 for details. <br /> 2. Topsoil Replacement <br /> The topsoil thickness is expected to range from 0-28 inches. An average of 14 inches of topsoil <br /> will be stripped. During mining,the topsoil will be stored in a berm uphill of the site and in the <br /> topsoil storage area. See Map E-2. Soil will be replaced over the entire mine site at once, due to <br /> the small size of the site. Topsoil thickness upon replacement is expected to be 14 inches on <br /> average.All topsoil will be scarified to a depth of six inches by disc or plow. <br /> 3. Haul Roads and Access <br /> One access road will connect the CR 62 to the pit. See Map E-3 for the layout of roads after <br /> mining and reclamation. <br /> 4.
