Bond Release Application -2 - February 4, 2020 <br /> 11. Original Total Bond Amount: $288,000 <br /> 12. Dollar Amount Requested for Release: $ 43,200 <br /> 13. Legal Description of Area Requested: The disturbed area is located in: <br /> Township 6 South Range 90 West, 6th P.M. <br /> Section 6: NW/4, W/2NE/4 south of the right-of-way of County Road 335 <br /> 14. A Map Showing Area: Enclosed <br /> 15. Dates Reclamation Work Performed: May through August 1994 and October and <br /> November 2015. <br /> 16. A description of results achieved: Reclamation of the mine site began in early <br /> May 1994 and demolition, backfilling, grading and seeding were complete by the <br /> end of August 1994. Sealing of the underground mine openings was performed <br /> in accordance with the approved plan. The sediment pond was backfilled and <br /> vegetated in late 2015. A phase I bond release was approved on October 19, <br /> 1995 and a phase II bond release was approved on August 17, 2001. <br /> Vegetation studies performed in 2018 and 2019 have shown that the target <br /> reclaimed plant communities meet Phase III Bond Release success criteria and <br /> satisfy CB Minerals Company's approved reclamation plan. Ground cover and <br /> production of perennial plants within the reclaimed areas are comparable to <br /> adjacent undisturbed native communities and plant succession is progressing in a <br /> positive direction, indicating that plants are self-sustaining. <br /> 17. Copies of the written notice to seek release to parties identified in Rule 3.03.2(1): <br /> A Certificate of Service which documents the notices required under Rule <br /> 3.03.2(1) have been mailed is enclosed. <br /> 18.
