Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine;permit C1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts, Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection as was Christine <br /> Belka from The Office of Surface Mining (OSM) for oversight purpuses. Skies were clear and <br /> temperatures ranged between 30 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. There was a light breeze. Ash, coal and <br /> overburden were being hauled. Haul roads were in good repair and passable. A blast was observed. <br /> Blasting and permit records were checked. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br /> o PR9 <br /> o TR124 in progres <br /> o SL 20 in progress <br /> o TR125 ARR <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> 1. Several Elaeagnus angustifolia should be removed around impoundment H. The <br /> operator committed to address this situation this spring by May 2020. <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED: <br /> NA <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Main haul roads and access roads were either snow covered or wet and muddy. Two draglines were <br /> operating (Baby Doe and Molly Brown),casting spoil; one dragline (Queen Anne),was idle. Activities <br /> in the pit were observed. Overburden was being hauled and placed in benches at the time of inspection. <br /> Contemporaneous reclamation of backfilling and grading had not yet commenced for the 2020 season due <br /> to snow cover and saturated conditions. No offsite air quality or hydrologic issues were observed at the <br /> time of inspection. A new potable water facility had been built and was online. A large amount of coal <br /> was stockpiled at the power plant at the time of inspection. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />
