EXHIBIT D
Reclamation Plan
McCormick Excavation And Paving LLC(applicant) McCormick Pit 1
1 a.As mining completes a stage and we have to strip another part of the permitted area we will take
stripping's and place them on the part that was finished with mining. Therefore, reclamation will be an
ongoing process as we mine instead of waiting until pit is finished.
B. All slopes will be a 4 to 1 or less.
C. The site will be planted back to grass. It is a pasture now and will be put back as pasture land for its
future use. Seeding will be done when a large enough area is done to justify a seeding company to come
out and seed. The ground will be chiseled and disked to eliminate compacted ground.Compost will be
spread over reclamation area if needed. We will use a disk drill to plant grass seed. We will use a Blue
Gramma and Western Wheat Grass with Buffalo Grass being the majority. Seeding ratio will be 25lbs per
acre.
D. There will be no ponds, streams or buildings left to remain after reclamation. If land owner wants,
we will leave the entrance to the land.
E. There will be no waste rock, no underground mine openings or buildings left to create any hydrologic
imbalances.
2. The maximum number of acres to be disturbed would be 5.51 acres between both phases.Topsoil
and overburden run an average 30 inches which equals 22,202 cubic yards. To re-spread over permitted
area with haul distances of 1,200 feet or less, cost per cubic yard would be$1.35. Cost to re-spread
overburden and topsoil would be$29,973.00 To seed, fertilizer and crimp would be$1,800 acre, this
total would be$9,918.00. To rip and disk access road and seed, fertilizer and crimp and add topsoil to
road cost would be$600.00.To remove culvert from access road $300.00.The total cost with re-
spreading of topsoil and overburden and seeding would be$40,791.00
