CDPS discharge 0036684(Pond E at Fish of Reclamation, Mining and Safety and the Water Quality Control <br /> limitations Creek Tipple),CO-0042161 Division (WQCD),the WQCD will be responsible for enforcing CDPS <br /> (Fish Creek Borehole),COG <br /> 850051(6MN Pad Area),CO Permit conditions. <br /> 850054(18LT),COG-073534 <br /> The mine discharges surface runoff and pumped mine water to the <br /> following stream segments in Region 12 of the Yampa River basin: <br /> Segment 2c,Yampa River from confluence with Oak Creek to <br /> confluence with Elkhead Creek <br /> Segment 13f,Trout Creek below Fish Creek <br /> Segment 13c,Trout Creek above Fish Creek <br /> Segment 13b, Foidel Creek, Fish Creek, Middle Creek above Trout <br /> Creek to CR27 <br /> Segment 13a,Trout Creek to Fish Creek <br /> Typical flow patterns were exhibited in Foidel Creek at Site 008, <br /> 800,and 14,located immediately downstream and upstream from <br /> the Foidel Creek Mine respectively. Foidel Creek at Site 008 is fed <br /> by surface runoff and coal spoil leachate springs on the historical <br /> Eckman Park/Energy Fuels coal mining area. Water quality <br /> parameters at these sites were within previously established <br /> 9. Instream Numeric ranges in 2018 with any exceptions noted in item 12 below. <br /> Standards CWQCC regulation 33.0 <br /> Typical flow patterns were exhibited in Fish Creek at sites 16A, <br /> 302, 1002,27a,and 1003. Water quality parameters at these sites <br /> were within previously established ranges in 2018 with any <br /> exceptions noted in item 12 below. <br /> Typical flow patterns were exhibited in Trout Creek at sites 301,69 <br /> and 1005,with the exception of increased flow in August 2018, <br /> after a Call was placed on Yampa and irrigation decreased and <br /> flows at Trout Creak increased. Water quality parameters at these <br /> sites were within previously established ranges in 2018 with any <br /> exceptions noted in item 12 below. <br /> Typical flow patterns were exhibited in Middle Creek at Site 29. <br /> Water quality parameters at this site were within previously <br /> established ranges in 2018 with any exceptions noted in item 12 <br /> below. <br /> The Wadge overburden and the Twentymile Sandstone are the <br /> 10. Basic Standards two aquifers most likely to be affected by mining. If the workings <br /> (Interim Narrative CWQCCregulation 41.5.C.6 are developed to the maximum extent approved,the monitoring <br /> Standard)for Ground locations of both formations will be upgradiant from mine <br /> Water workings.
