Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine;permit C 1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts, Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were cloudy <br /> and snow was falling. Temperatures ranged between 20 and 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Ash,coal and spoil <br /> were being hauled;throughout the day. Visibility was minimal for much of the inspection due to fog, <br /> snow and low cloud ceiling. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br /> o PR9 Rewrite <br /> o TR124 <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> 1. Several Elaeagnus angustifolia should be removed around impoundment H. <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED: <br /> 1. Delta identified in Middle Flume Pond had been dredged. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Main haul roads were snow covered and operational. Access roads are not plowed and many were <br /> inaccessible. Draglines were operating casting spoil,one dragline was idle. Activities in the pit were <br /> observed. Contemporaneous reclamation, grading,overburden and topsoil placement have been <br /> completed for the year 2019. No offsite air quality or hydrologic issues were observed at the time of <br /> inspection. Stripping in N Pit has been completed with the exception of the haul road corridor. This <br /> corridor is planned for buildout in fall of 2020 when material for road building is acquired. <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS—Rule 4.02 <br /> o Pond id signs were prominently displayed in the vicinity of the ponds visited and were in <br /> adequate repair at the time of inspection. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.031(3)14.03.2(3);Drainage 4.031(4)14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.031(5) <br /> and(6)14.03.2(5) and(6);Reclamation 4.031(7)14.03.2(7) <br /> o Haul roads appeared in good repair and well maintained. The haul roads were snow covered. <br /> o Access roads were snow covered with deep unconsolidated snow and many were impassable <br /> because of this, and their gradients. <br /> o Ditches appeared to be functioning adequately. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />
