Harry Ranney of <br /> CDRMS collected the photos. Janet Bums of CDRMS evaluated the digital images. This inspection is based on <br /> evaluation of the digital imagery. <br /> Most of the south faciling slopes are free of snow. North facing slopes and flat areas are snow covered. Patchy <br /> snow was present throughout the remainder of the site and surrounding landscape. <br /> FISH and WILDLIFE—Rule 4.18: <br /> Numerous animal tracks were observed on top of the refuse pile. No wildlife was identifiable in the <br /> photos. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9: <br /> The ponds at King 1 were snow covered. Snow level on the ponds was many feet below the discharge <br /> elevation. Considerable capacity remains available in the ponds. The fields adjacent to the King I haul road are <br /> snow covered. There was no evidence of black road material running off site. <br /> The north end of Pond 1 at King 11 facilities was dry. <br /> The upland collection ditches at the King II facilities area appear intact and unobstructed. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> The coal seam confirmation work approved with MR50 does not appear to have begun on the slope east of <br /> the King II facilities area. <br /> PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES—Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br /> Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br />
