C(A' EmercyencN Response Plan <br /> 5.15.6 External phone calls, pictures, social media posting, contacting family, contacting media or <br /> government agencies is strictly prohibited. <br /> 5.15.7 Give the following information: <br /> (a) Your name <br /> (b) Location <br /> (c) Nature of the injuries and number of injured persons (do not give names) <br /> (d) Type of help needed, i.e., gear, transportation and personnel. <br /> (e) #of emergency personnel already on scene. <br /> (f) Make sure help is on the way. <br /> (g) Do not hang up until told to do so. <br /> 5.15.8 Fill out witness statement, first aid report or incident report as needed <br /> 5.15.9 All accidents/incidents will be investigated in accordance with Newmont North America <br /> Procedures. <br /> 5.15.10 All attempts should be made to prevent injured or ill persons from leaving the property unless <br /> accompanied by at least one other individual. If the company rescue vehicle is used, a minimum of two <br /> people must accompany the injured -An EMT or first responder to render aid and one other to drive. <br /> 5.15.11 If a medical emergency or accident occurs that requires patient transport to the hospital, the <br /> supervisor, dispatch, mill control or security can call Sheriff Dispatch 9(911) and request Teller County <br /> EMS or alternate Air Transport. <br /> 5.16 Air Ambulance Landing Requirements & Coordinates <br /> 5.16.1 Helicopter Landing Zone Requirements: <br /> (a) Minimum clear area of 100' x 100' with a slope of less than 10 degrees. <br /> (b) Remove debris and unsecured items. <br /> (c) Alert access air ambulance of surrounding hazards; power lines, trees, etc. <br /> (d) Assist the pilot in landing. <br /> (e) One emergency vehicle with flashing light adjacent to landing site. <br /> (f) At night, turn off headlights and spotlights just prior to landing. <br /> (g) Use flags to indicate wind direction. <br /> (h) Keep crowds back 100 ft. from helicopter at all times. <br /> (i) Never approach the aircraft from the rear or while the blades are in motion, unless signaled to <br /> do so by the pilot. <br /> 5.16.2 Landing zones Cripple Creek Victor <br /> (a) Ironclad #1 — Helicopter Pad located North West of Ironclad Building.
