Spill •. and <br /> CountermeasuresNEWMONT .r the Cresson Project <br /> .• Relations <br /> 2.4 Plan Locations <br /> A complete copy of this Plan will be maintained at the following locations: <br /> Offices: <br /> • Carlton Security Access <br /> • Administration Bldg.—General Manager's Assistant's Office <br /> • Ironclad Security Access <br /> • Mine Rescue Team Van <br /> • Cripple Creek Fire Department <br /> • Teller County Local Emergency Planning Committee <br /> • PSES Facility <br /> • ADR-1 Facility <br /> • ADR-2 Facility <br /> • HGM Facility <br /> • Crusher Facility—Millwright's Office <br /> • Ironclad Facility and NTS <br /> Team Members receive general instructions and training on the content of the plan,and periodic instruction on <br /> the nature,transportation,and handling of hazardous materials.Training is done as part of regular annual safety <br /> training and/or specifically held meetings.A record of these meetings is made and filed in the Safety Supervisor's <br /> office. <br /> A complete copy of this Plan, including all attachments(reports,certifications, records, integrity testing, etc.)will <br /> be retained for a period of at least three years.A signed,current copy of this Plan, including all necessary <br /> attachments will be retained onsite as long as industrial activities occur at the CC&V Facility.The plan must be <br /> made available to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency(EPA)and the Colorado Department of Public Health <br /> and Environment(CDPHE)for onsite review during normal working hours. <br /> 2.5 Plan Amendments and Reviews <br /> This Plan will be reviewed, and amended as necessary,whenever: <br /> • There is a change in design, construction, operation, or maintenance at the site,which materially effects <br /> the potential for discharge from the facility; <br /> • During inspections or investigations by site personnel or regulatory entities it is determined that the SPCC <br /> is ineffective;or if the general objectives of the plan are not being met; <br /> • Upon receipt of notification from the EPA Regional Director that the SPCC does not meet one or more of <br /> the minimum requirements of the permit,the required changes will be made and certification provided to <br /> the director; <br /> • Commissioning or decommissioning of tanks; <br /> • Replacement, reconstruction, or movement of tanks; <br /> • Reconstruction, replacement, or installation of piping systems; <br /> • Construction,or demolition that might structurally alter secondary containment structures; <br /> • Changes of product or service; and <br /> • Revision of standard operation or maintenance procedures at a facility that would have a material effect <br /> on containment. <br /> Any amendment under this section must be prepared within six months, and implemented as soon as possible, but <br /> not later than six months following preparation of the amendment.Any technical amendments made to the SPCC <br /> plan must be reviewed and certified by a professional engineer.Scheduled reviews and Plan amendments are <br /> recorded in the Plan Review Log(Section 6.0). <br /> _ .-.._ _..___ _ - - - <br /> Department THIS DOCUMENT IS UNCONTROLLED IN HARDCOPY FORMAT Doc Id:NA 1930 C PLAN- <br /> 30 <br />
