Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was an aerial inspection of the Roadside Portals Mine conducted on December 11, 2019. The inspection <br /> photos were taken by Harry Ranney of the Division. This report was completed by Clayton Wein of the Division. <br /> No company representative was present for the inspection. The weather was cloudy and the ground conditions <br /> were dry. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14 <br /> Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br /> Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27;Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> The TR-69 repair area located on Tract 71 was in good condition(Photo 1). The site was stable with no <br /> indications of erosion. There were no observed signs of off-site impacts. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3),Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and <br /> (6)/4.03.2(5) and(6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Access roads throughout the mine site were in good repair. There were no signs of instability or erosion. <br /> Two access roads intersect at the southeast corner of the A Substation. The road heading roughly east west has <br /> been disturbed. This disturbance was noted in the November 2019 inspection report by the Division. The <br /> disturbance was a ditch that cut directly across the access road and lead into the footprint of the A Substation. The <br /> A Substation itself was not impacted by the disturbance. During this Aerial inspection the ditch through the access <br /> road appeared to remain in the same location(Photo 2). No impacts to the A Substation were identified. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> Conveyor Footprint- <br /> The conveyor footprint is located on the west side of interstate 70 at the Cameo exit. The site was vegetated and <br /> stable. There were no indications of erosion. There were no off-site impacts observed. <br /> Borrow Area(Photo 3) - <br /> The barrow area was located just to the south of the portals area.
