D-22
an estimated 25.7 million tons of ROM mined tonnage(with the average annual production rate being about
5.1 million tons per year).
The process waste stockpile at the end of Year 10 is estimated to contain a total volume of approximately
9.0 million cubic yards, encompassing an approximately 105-acre area at an estimated height of sixty-three
(63) ft., remaining at a height of 30 to 33-ft. above the surrounding natural topography. The increase in
areal extent of the stockpile will be accomplished via a continuation of the easterly expansion(truck dump
and dozer push)of the footprint area within the previously-developed pit void.
Years 11 throuah 13 Mininje Activit Al roPression (Remainder Section 5 and Section 7)
The Year(s) 11 through 13 mining area will initially focus on mining the remaining identified resource
present in the eastern portion of Section 5, with mining continuing an easterly push to its limit as defined
by the east section line of Section 5 (and the there-northeasterly oriented Cedar Creek Wind Energy high
voltage transmission line easement crossing the extreme southeast corner of the Section). Thereafter, the
active mining operations will move over to the northeast portion of Section 7,with pit development again
requiring a new box cut. In general, it is anticipated that pit progression will then be in a southwesterly
direction,as limited by the presence of the northwest to southeast oriented Damson Gas Processing Corp.
pipeline easement; and, as subject to further resource definition to be completed by CSC. In general, all
areas abutting the pipeline to the northeast,as well as areas to the southwest of the pipeline remain subject
to incremental exploration activity(by CSC)to advance resource definition in this area, which CSC has,at
this juncture, identified as the"Section 7 Temporary Mining Deferral Zone".
The Section 7 gross resource quantification is considered sufficient to define the general mineability of the
northeastern portion of Section 7. Due,however,to the paucity of data available to date for the remaining
portions of Section 7,meaningful resource definition remains to be completed for approximately two-thirds
of the Section. Accordingly;CSC has not yet fully defined specific mine blocks, specific pit configuration,
or direction of advance, due not only to the limitations introduced by insufficient geological data, but also
the known presence of utility rights-of-way,pipelines,etc.
Again, since in all likelihood that mining activity will encroach to within 200-ft. of, or closer to (in most
instances,a 50-ft.set-back has been employed),one or more of these features,CSC has obtained"structure
agreements" from each identified party and completed geotechnical analyses to otherwise determine
appropriate minimum set-backs. It is anticipated that further analysis of specific lease and related easement
Keenesburg No. 2 Mine_112 Reclamation Operation—November 22, 2019
