Year 1 Mining Activity(NW Portion of Section 1) Initial mine development will require the nominal 1-ft. thick growth medium pre-stripped from: (1) the plant area(approximately 77,000 cubic yards); (2) the initial portion of the waste storage area (approximately 18,000 cubic yards); and, (3) the Year 1 mining boundary (approximately 183,000 cubic yards), respectively, to be temporarily stored in a collective growth medium stockpile (TS-0), at a location about 1,550 ft. to the immediate south-southeast of the plant area (but south of the Year 1 mine block). The TS-0 stockpile feature will have nominal footprint dimensions of about 520-ft.x 665-ft.,with an approximately 43-ft. overall height(total volume of approximately 278,000 cubic yards), as shown on Exhibit D-1: Mine Plan.
