Total disturbance for access will be approximately
0.45 acres.
The operator proposes to use hand tools to disturb a maximum of 0.15 acre per season (6,000
square feet, including test pits, prospect pits, trenches, etc.) or 0.75 acres over a period of 5 years.
The operator will have no more than 5 excavations open at one time and will practice ongoing
contemporaneous reclamation. Mining activities will
be compliant with all other State and Federal regulations. If the operator requires more working
days, the Forest Service will be notified prior to the continuation of operations.
Jacob Ulrich's proposed activities fall under purview of the Mining Law of 1872, as
amended.
