D. Equipment and Vehicles. Describe that which is proposed for use in your operation(Examples:drill,dozer, wash plant,mill,etc.).Include: <br /> sizes,capacity,frequency of use,etc. <br /> Equipment-No mechanized earth moving machinery such as a bulldozer or backhoe will be used in this operation. No equipment, <br /> materials,tools,explosives,fuel,etc...will ever be stored on site,no buildings or trailers are needed to store these items.All mining or <br /> prospecting activities will be conducted with hand tools,such as a pick,shovel and rake or hand-held power tools such as a breaker <br /> hammer. Hand held power tools will receive electrical power from a small(6hp+/-)generator. <br /> We will not leave a camping trailer,or any other type of trailer or"camp"set up on site. <br /> Vehicles-The claims will be accessed in 4-wheel drive vehicles licensed for use on public roads.This will occur 1 to 2 days per <br /> week,as weather permits, usually on one or two vehicles will be on the claim, never more than 3. <br /> No equipment or vehicles of any type will ever be stored or left on site unattended. <br /> Operations typically occur one to two days per week for about 7 hours per day(9:30a-4:30p+1-). <br /> E. Structures. Include information about fixed or portable structures or facilities planned for the operation. Show locations on the <br /> map. Include such things as living quarters,storage sheds, mill buildings, thickener tanks, fuel storage,powder magazines,pipelines, <br /> water diversions,trailers, sanitation facilities including sewage disposal, etc. Include engineering design and geotechnical information <br /> for project facilities,justification and calculations for sizing of tanks,pipelines and water diversions,etc. <br /> Gate-One Forest Service approved gate will be installed at the end of each non-system,these are located on(EXHIBIT B). <br /> Professionally made signs,to Forest Service approved standards,will be used to identify the operation boundary and to prevent <br /> mineral theft. <br /> No other structures of any type will be required for this operation, permanent or temporary. <br /> We do not intend to"occupy"the claim,we do not need structures to establish occupancy. <br /> Sanitation-Human waste will be disposed of using Leave No Trace Principals and/or disposed of off National Forest System lands. <br /> Occupancy-We will not camp for more than 14 days during a 60-day period. Unless a structure is specifically listed under this <br /> heading,and shown on(EXHIBIT B)disturbances,it is not required in this operation and will not be used. <br /> (If more space is needed to fill out a block of information,use additional sheets and attach form) <br /> -5- <br />
