Since 2012. CCA has maintained an extensive database of water
level elevations for the monitoring program wells. As mining has progressed through its
phases, some of the wells were mined through and no longer exist. No additional water
level data is available for wells that %vere mined through. Similarly, some wells have
become inaccessible due to land use considerations.
Figure 1 presents the location of existing and abandoned monitoring wells and includes the
approximate date of monitoring well abandonment. The dates represent the date the
measurement of the wells was abandoned after which no additional depth to water data was
collected.
The requested change to the monitoring program is to reduce the measurement frequency
from bi-monthly to monthly for the Phase 1.2 and 7 monitoring«-ells.
RPM,Inc.,25049 E.Alder Dr.,Aurora,CO 80016 Phone:(303)854-7499 Email:h1humphries2@comcast.net
