September 17, 2019
Tim Cazier, Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety AGGREGATE
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 INDUSTRIES
Denver, CO 80203
RE: M-1973-007-SG Technical Revision Request
Dear Mr. Cazier:
Attached please find the Technical Revision request form and fee ($216.00) so that Aggregate Industries-
WCR, Inc.,can provide a Grant of Utility Easement to the Security Water District for the construction of a
pipeline within the boundaries of Permit Number M1973007SG.
According to Bill Wemmert, Senior Project Manager with AECOM,AECOM is under contract with the US
Army Corps of Engineers, for the US Air Force,to design a drinking water mitigation system for the
Security Water District(SWD). Due to contamination of the groundwater, all of the SWD water supply
wells are shut down and the SWD is using alternative temporary supplies to meet customer water
demand. AECOM is designing a drinking water mitigation system to collect the wells' water and convey
it to a new facility to treat the water. Part of this well collection pipeline alignment is proposed along the
southern limit of the gravel pit. The new drinking water mitigation system needs to be completed and
operational prior to the temporary water supply system being turned off in December 2020.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact me or Andre Laroche, Environment and Land Manager
at andre.laroche@aggregate-us.com/719-491-0288.
Best regards,
J el Bolduc
&4\--
Regional Land and Environment Manager
Aggregate Industries
West Central Region,Inc.
1687 Cole Boulevard,Suite 300
Golden,CO 80401
Telephone:303-985-1070 An Equal Opportunity Employer
