Jordan McCourt of GCC <br /> accompanied Lucas in the field at King I and II. The weather was clear and the ground was dry during the <br /> inspection. <br /> Normal activities were taking place at the mine during the inpsection. At King II,the stackers were active and <br /> trucks were being loaded. At King I waste material was being transfered from the staging area up to the refuse <br /> pile,being placed and compacted. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Construction of the new Clear Water Ditch at King I was observed. The majority of the construction has <br /> been completed and the entire length of the new ditch was observed. The grade and side slopes of the ditch are in <br /> compliance with the approved plan at the time of the inspection. The only remaining portion to be constructed is <br /> the tie in of the slope where the new ditch meets the existing ditch. This area has been graded and prepped <br /> however final construction calls for sealing with Shock-Crete. <br /> The fuel and hazardous materials storage facility at King II was observed. All materials stored within the facility <br /> are stored with proper secondary containment. All fuel, oil and other fluids were clearly labeled and stored in an <br /> orderly fashion. <br /> The entire West Clear Water Ditch and SAE at King II was observed. Hand removal of nuisance weed <br /> species was actively being conducted in the Clear Water Ditch.
