27 August 2019 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> East Middle Flume #1: The pond was full with clear water and was not discharging at the <br /> time of inspection. Some vegetation, comprised of grasses was noted at discharge side of <br /> spillway but is not impeding water flow. Geofabric under lays the drainage and spillway <br /> channel, creating a well vegetated channel protecting against scour. <br /> Middle Flume #3: Full with turbid water, spillway was clear and the pond was not <br /> discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> b) East Pyeatt System: The system was holding water and discharging clear water. <br /> Spillways were clear and appeared to be functioning as designed. It appears that <br /> there is the possibility of an Alluvial Valley Floor(AVF), below East Pyeatt#3. <br /> c) Coyote: Held a small amount of water. <br /> d) Johnson System: Johnson 10R was full clear water and was not discharging. Spillway <br /> appeared in good repair. AVF vegetation included cattails and bulrush. <br /> TOPSOIL—RULE 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3;Redistribution 4.06.4 <br /> o No instability was noted on the observed topsoil piles and the piles appeared to be marked <br /> appropriately. <br /> o No riling or gullying at topsoil piles was apparent at the time of inspection <br /> BA CKFILL and GRADING—RULE 4.14 <br /> o Backfilling and grading operations appeared to be progressing as permitted. <br /> o Dumping of spoil is taking place in benches. Grading activities were occurring at the time of <br /> inspection. <br /> RE VEGETATION-Rule 4.15 <br /> General Requirements 4.15.1; Use of Species 4.15.2, Grazing 4.15.5 <br /> o Reclamation and revegetation appeared to be progressing adequately. No extensive areas devoid <br /> of vegetation or weed infestations were apparent at the time of inspection. <br /> o Small areas of Bromus tectorum are evident on some south facing slopes. <br /> INSPECTION, ENFORCEMENT and CIVIL PENALTIES—RULE 5 <br /> Inspections 5.02;Availability of Records <br /> Permit document and blasting records were inspected. Please see records section below for permit <br /> document records. Items highlighted in yellow require attention. Blasting records were up to date and <br /> complete. <br /> DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br /> 1. Proof of Publication for SL20 <br /> 2.
