Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine;permit C 1981010, operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts, Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear <br /> and temperatures ranged between 50 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Ash and coal were being hauled; spoil <br /> and topsoil transported, dumped and graded and; roads were being watered throughout the day. Blasting <br /> was also taking place <br /> A 5130 B excavator,was being assembled in the shop yard at the time of inspection. The Molly Brown <br /> drag line was operating. A coal shot was scheduled and another shot was laid out near the haul road. <br /> PERMITTING A CTIONS: <br /> o PR9 Rewrite <br /> o SL20 Phase III Bond Release <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br /> Culverts <br /> 1. Previous inspections identified several abraded culverts along the main haul road. Some <br /> culverts were replaced in 2018 during the time a portion of the power plant was temporarily <br /> decommissioned, others require addressing. <br /> 2. Sediment markers were not visible in the following ponds: <br /> o No Name#2, 41 5 <br /> o Middle Flume#3 <br /> o Johnson#7R, 8R, 9R, and IOR <br /> 3. The marker in West Horse Gulch requires replacement. <br /> 4. Several Elaeagnus angustifolia should be removed around impoundment H. <br /> 5. Deltas were identified in ponds Deal and Middle Flume and will be dredged in the fall of <br /> 2019. The Quarter 1 Sediment Pond inspection identified Horse Pond as reaching its 60% <br /> sediment limit as well so, should also be cleaned during the fall of 2019. <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED: <br /> 1. A number of drainage and check dam repairs had taken place. Drainages had been tied in with <br /> existing reclamation and topsoil laydown to the east, and breached check dams reworked. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br />
