No seepage was detected on dam outslopes. Reconstructed drainage ways <br /> appeared well armored and to be functioning adequately. <br /> o Pond 10, was discharging clear water. Bentonite had been placed to stabilize the drop <br /> structure. <br /> o Surge Tanks at YOV20 and YW21 will be permanent and white overflow tubes will remain <br /> after Phase III bond release. <br /> o Pond 13 was not discharging at the time of inspection. A white salty deposite was observed on <br /> the cut cattail stems and along shore. <br /> o Pond 14 was discharging a small amount of clear water. Bentonite had been placed to secure <br /> the flume. <br /> o Pond 12 was discharging clear water at approximately 60 gallons per minute through its <br /> flume. Banks appeared well vegetated and stable at the time of inspection. <br /> TOPSOIL -Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br /> Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> o Topsoil piles were observed associated with roads. Their slopes appeared stable <br /> and vegetated. <br /> o Some cheat grass was observed on topsoil piles, particularly on south facing <br /> slopes. <br /> SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE-Rule 4.12 <br /> o The site, in the past, has experienced soil movement in the form of slumps and slides. At <br /> the time of inspection no evidence of recent new movement was observed and historic slide <br /> areas appeared stable. <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 General Requirements 4.15.1; <br /> o Reclamation and revegetation have been completed at this site. <br /> o No extensive areas devoid of vegetation or, expansive areas of weeds were noted at the time <br /> of inspection. <br /> o Reclamation appeared stable with well established and vigorous growth of vegetation. <br /> o A diversity of species comprising forbes, grasses and shrubs was observed throughout the site <br /> over the course of this inspection. <br /> DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
