@0520 64 degrees F,wind 1-3 mph,100%visibility,no precipitation. Arrived at OP08. Potential burrowing owl habitat is observed.Prairie dog colony is not active.Next to
existing equipment with loud noises. Start playback calls.
@0530 No BUOW observed. Departed for OP09.
@0533 Arrived at OP09. Prairie dog colony is active. Noise from equipment is still audible. Started playback calls.
@0543 One BUOW observed at burrow with feathers,pellets and prey items observed. BUOW burrow is located at(40.245634,-104.293941). Departed for OP10.
@0550 Arrived at OP10. Prairie dog colony is active. 2 BUOW's observed in field approximately 150 feet south of OP10 upon arrival. Started playback calls.
@0600 Observed 2 BUOW's at burrow with white wash and pellets. BUOW burrow was located at(40.246473,-104.291503). One BUOW was observed on a fence post just
