Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste Y -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Seneca IIW Mine, C 1982057, operated by Seneca Property <br /> LLC. Mine representatives Miranda Kawcak, was present throughout the inspection. The weather <br /> was clear with temperatures ranging from 60 to 75 degrees F. The main haul road provided access <br /> to the entire site. Upcoming bond release areas were discussed and surveyed. <br /> UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS.- <br /> Partial Phase I, II, and III Bond Release <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE ITEMS.• <br /> o Culverts had been cleared of debris. <br /> NEW MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br /> 1. Be aware of the Lactuca serriola (prickly lettuce), in lower areas along road and on some <br /> south facing slopes. <br /> 2. One of the monitoring wells had been broken off. The operator agreed to repair this one <br /> and, Depressurize the others as needed. <br /> INSPECTION.- <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> It appeared that permitted activities were progressing as planned. Reclamation has, for the most <br /> part been completed, with the exception of some small buildings that require demolition. <br /> Vegetation appeared lush and well established in most places throughout the site <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS—Rule 4.02 <br /> o The mine site identification signs observed at the mine entrance off County Road were <br /> intact, displaying all required information: mine name, operator name, address, phone <br /> number, DBMS permit number and contact information. <br /> o Permit boundary markers were found to be visible and in fair repair. <br /> o The few topsoil piles remaining at the site were observed to be well marked. <br /> ROADS Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.031(3), 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance <br /> 4.03.1(5) and (6) 4.03.2(5) and (6). <br /> o The haul road exhibited some rilling in scattered places due to a heavy snow pack and strong <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 0 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Page 2 of 9 <br />
