Constructed drainages in parcel LA 18 exhibited compromised check dams, erosional
features and the north facing slope had several significant rills and gullies across its
extent.
3. A contour ditch and a check dam, in drainage MF2' was breached in parcel LA 18.
This occurred at the transition between more established reclamation and the newly
seeded LA 18 reclamation.
4. Repairs to drainages are still pending waiting for the opportunity to tie in reclamation
and topsoil laydown to the east.
5. Sediment markers were not visible in several ponds.
6. Several Elaeagnus angustifolia should be removed around impoundment H.
7. Deltas were identified in ponds Deal and Middle Flume, and will be dredged in the
fall of 2019.
MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED:
1. Secondary containment issues at the fueling tank had been addressed with absorbent
pads. DRMS recommends that absorbent pads be stored nearby if possible.
2. Some repairs had been made to the road in Oak Drainage. Additional work is needed
before winter.
3.
