7. Water will be used for this operation. It will be pumped or gravity fed from Handcart Gulch to each of the two
drill pads. We will use about 6,000 gallons per day. If faulting is encountered, the number may increase to
20,000 as much as gallons per day. Faulting and the potential for high usage is unlikely based upon previous
drilling in Handcart Gulch by Mineral Systems, Inc. and the USGS from 2000 through 2004.There will be two
1,500 gallon tanks, two 2,500 gallon tanks and a 2,800 gallon tank on site for water storage.
The Headwaters Authority of the South Platte (HASP) manages water rights in Handcart Gulch. We are currently
working with BBA Water Engineers to obtain the legal right to withdraw water from Handcart Gulch and will
notify the CO DRMS when access is granted.
8. No previously approved NO1 activities from the original application have been initiated and we have no longer
intend to perform them. Please apply the existing bond amount toward the reclamation bond assessed to the
MD-01 proposed activities.
9. Sierta will inform the USFS of any revisions to the prospecting operation once the application is approved.
