July 9, 2019 C-1981-008/New Horizon Mine JHB <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The Division has received bond release application SL22. This bond release is requesting partial Phase 1, <br /> Phase II and Phase III release on various parcels throughout the permit area. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15 <br /> Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> Irrigated pasture on the Morgan property is in the process of being cut for its second cutting. <br /> The Lloyd and Benson West irrigated pastures were currently being irrigated with side roll sprinklers. The Lloyd <br /> and Benson West pastures have been cut once, and are due to be cut again soon. The alfalfa was starting to bloom. <br /> ERMR has been making an excellent effort on weed management. Few noxious weeds were observed. Keep <br /> implementing the weed management plan as weeds are observed. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> Stream buffer zone markers are in place and visible at Tuttle draw. Permit boundary markers and marked <br /> fence lines are easily viewed throughout the permit area. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> Topsoil stockpiles are marked with identification. Several Russian knapweed plants were observed on the <br /> south west corner of the B Horizon topsoil stockpile on the Morgan Property. Both the operator(Frank) and the <br /> landowner(JoEllen Turner)were told about these few plants.
