Mr. Basil Bear represented Bowie Resources,
LLC, and accompanied the majority of the inspection.The mine is an underground mine that is currently idle.
Maintenince of the surface facilities and management of the Gob piles are the activities the remaining crew
continues to conduct.

The weather was clear and dry at the time of the inspection.
BACKFILL and GRADING – Rule 4.14
Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f);
Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6:
The reclaimed slopes at the Hubbard Creek shaft area remain stable and well vegetated.

FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18:
Numerous bear scat were observed on the road to the Terror Creek Vent shaft, though no bear were
encountered.

HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits
4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9;
Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
The Water monitoring well at the north end of the Hubbard Creek road is intact. These check dams appear to be keyed into the sides of the ditch. The rock check dams are small and do not
change the function of the ditch. The purpose of these rock check dams is to slow the flow, drop some of the
sediment load, and reduce the continued down cutting of the ditch. So far these check dams appear to be
