The purpose of our services was to review the cut slopes <br /> in the"Newly Affected Lands", shown on the attached Figure 1, that potentially could impact the <br /> surrounding structures. Our findings are presented in this report. The services were performed <br /> in accordance with our agreement for professional engineering services to Martinez Western <br /> Construction dated May 28, 2019. <br /> Background Information: The "Newly Affected Lands"were used as a borrow area for fill <br /> material for previous a construction project. We understand that no further removal of borrow <br /> material is planned at this time. We also understand that the review of the cut slopes in the <br /> "Newly Affected Lands"areas is needed for submittal to the State of Colorado. <br /> Site Conditions: The project site is currently mostly vacant. A few piles of construction type <br /> debris were observed scattered throughout the site at the time of our visit. A mobile home was <br /> parked to the east of the southernmost "Newly Affected Lands" area shown on Figure 1. <br /> Vegetation consists of native grass and weeds and scattered sage brush and cactus. The <br /> Colorado River is approximately 1,000 feet northeast of the subject site. <br /> The"Added Dwelling" shown on Figure 1 is approximately 300 feet east of the southern "Newly <br /> Affected Lands" area. The "Ducray House"is approximately 300 feet east of the northern <br /> "Newly Affected Lands" area. The"Bennet House"is approximately 230 feet southwest of the <br /> southern"Newly Affected Lands" area. The"Bennet Garage"is approximately 220 feet west of <br /> the southern"Newly Affected Lands" area. The"Excel Overhead Power Pole"is approximately <br /> 130 feet southeast of the southern"Newly Affected Lands" area. The"Ducray Water Tap"is <br /> approximately 90 feet west of the southern"Newly Affected Lands" area. The"Ducray Septic <br /> System" is approximately 60 feet east of the northern"Newly Affected Lands" area. The <br />
