EXHIBIT I SOILS INFORMATION <br /> There are two types of soil within the permit area, the Tomichi and the Troutville. The Tomichi <br /> is described as a sandy loam and is found on slopes of 5 to 25%. The Troutville is described as a <br /> gravelly sandy loam and is found on slopes of 3 to 35%. The typical soil profiles are as follows: <br /> Tomichi sandy loam, 5 to 25 percent slopes: <br /> Typical profile: <br /> H1 - 0 to 7 inches: sandy loam <br /> H2 - 7 to 13 inches: gravelly sandy loam <br /> H3 - 13 to 60 inches: gravelly sand, cobbly sand <br /> Depth to restrictive feature: More than 80 inches <br /> Troutville gravelly sandy loam, 3 to 35 percent slopes: <br /> Typical profile: <br /> H1 - 0 to 14 inches: gravelly sandy loam <br /> H2 - 14 to 20 inches: very gravelly sandy loam <br /> H3 - 20 to 40 inches: extremely stony sandy loam <br /> H4 - 40 to 60 inches: very gravelly sand, very cobbly sand <br /> Depth to restrictive feature: More than 80 inches <br /> A custom soil survey for the permit area is found in Appendix 1: Soil Report.
