above the ground water table. The ground water table is expected to be located roughly 30 feet
below the ground surface.
Mining of below groundwater material will be conducted using a drag line, or similar equipment,
that will excavate wet material for processing. No dewatering will place. Material will be excavated
from below the water line, deposited on the dry ground adjacent to the drag line, and allowed to
drain back into the exposed water. This drained material will be taken to the processing area for
handling. This method of mining will keep the water exposure at a minimum as mining will take
place to maximum depth in a small area prior to expanding outward and exposing more
groundwater.
3_1 Area Wells
Map C-1 shows the wells within 600 feet of the proposed mining operation along with their
recorded depth to water. Well records are attached to this exhibit for the Division's convenience,
and a summary table is attached below.
DepthWell Permit
(NR= Not Reported)
325M -W
27710 N R
90358 32'
191172 10,
38295 3©'
153086 27'
185136 NR
4. Water Consumption for the Operation and Water Rights
An approved gravel well permit and a SWSP or augmentation plan are needed prior to groundwater
exposure. The landowner owns significant water rights for the property and it is anticipated that
these can be successfully converted to augmentation water. No mining will occur below the
groundwater level until an SWSP or augmentation plan is in place; a technical revision will be
submitted with such documentation to the Division.
Birdseye Pit (aeg Lmt6a anti %wwiatc+,VIA,(
June 2019 G-2
