will be posted at the access road showing name of Operator, statement of the issuance of a
reclamation permit, and the permit number. No problems are expected with vandalism.
It is extremely unlikely that any toxic or acid-producing materials will be encountered during the
mining operation as the material is alluvial in nature. However, in the event that such materials
are encountered, they will be covered with subsoil and topsoil from the stockpiles to the same
depths outlined in the reclamation plan and no more mining will occur in this area.
No designated chemicals or acid-producing materials to be used or stored on site. All fuel, oil,
and grease storage on the site will be done in accordance with a Spill Prevention, Control, and
Countermeasure plan(SPCC). Portable equipment with attached tanks will have their own SPCC
plans.
This site is privately owned and does not fall under the State Historic Preservation Office
Requirements for a cultural or history study and there is no cause to believe there are any areas
of interest to be mined. No historical buildings or structures are known to be located on the
permit area. The State Historic Preservation Office may be notified by DRMS as part of this
application process.
No crude oil pipelines are located on or within the permit boundary and no oil or gas wells are
located within the permit area. Powerlines owned by the Public Service Company of Colorado
rated at I I5k volts are located on the property. A gas transmission pipeline operated by Public
Service Company of Colorado (pipeline ID 1426236768) is located within the permit boundary.
This gas pipeline is indicated on the National Pipeline Mapping System website
(https://www.npms.phmsa.dot.gov/) which guarantees an accuracy of+/- 500 feet. The pipeline
will be field located prior to any disturbance taking place. The Operator will stay at least 30 feet
away from each side of the pipeline, per Public Service's requirements. See the structure
agreement and setback determination attached to Exhibit S.
Once topsoil is removed and segregated from other soil or product it will be saved for
replacement use during reclamation. Stockpiles will be configured to minimize erosion and will
be located in areas where disturbance by ongoing mining operations will be minimized. Topsoil
will be stockpiled near what will be the location of Pit 1 and will be handled during original
Birdseye Pit (.rry;IA`.tcLi anti 1sN"We%1.1 1A
June 2019 D-7
