The 8H-RI was abandoned due to exhaustion of minable bicarbonate and well damage. While attempting to clean out the 7.625"casing,the work tubing would not pass a depth of 1785 feet Following multiple attempts to get past 1785 feet,a video log was run to determine cause The 7.625"casing was found to be parted at a depth of 1717 feet,deformed from 1734-1750 feet,and parted and offset at 1764 feet. Due to the casing damage,a Cast Iron Bridge Plug could not be set in the well Therefore cement plugs were pumped through the open ended tubing to plug as much of the well as possible All cement plugs were set using balance method and consisted of Portland Type IIN cement Plug 1 was pumped at 1781 feet(can get no deeper than 1785 feet)and consisted of 4 5 cu yds(94.5 sks)with High Early accelerant and Barolift LCM. Plug 1 was allowed 17 hours to set,then top of cement was tagged at 1775 feet(10 feet of lift). Plug 2 was pumped at 1770 feet and consisted of 4.5 cu yds(94.5 sks)with High Early accelerant and Barolift LCM. Plug 2 was allowed 7 hours of set time,then top of cement was tagged at 1772 feet(3 feet of lift). Plug 3 was pumped from a depth of 1755 feet and consisted of 4.5 cu yds(94.5 sks)with High Early accelerant and Barolift LCM. Plug 3 was allowed 17 hours set time,then top of cement was tagged at a depth of 1747 feet(25'of lift). Plug 4 was pumped from a depth of 1689 feet and consisted of 4.5 cu yds(94 5 sks)of cement with High Early accelerant and 2 packages of LCM fiber. Fluid returns to surface after Plug 4 indicating hole had been plugged. Plug 4 was allowed 6 days of set time(rig moved to another job),then top of cement was tagged at a depth of 1301 feet Plug 5 was pumped from a depth of 1295 feet and consisted of 7 5 cu yds of cement(157.5 sks)with High Early accelerant. Fluid returns to surface through entire job. Plug 5 was allowed 6 hours set time and top of cement was tagged at 583 feet. Plug 6 was pumped at a depth of 549 feet and consisted of 6.0 cu yds(126 sks)of cement with High Early accelerant Plug 6 reached surface and eventually fell back to 32 feet below GL The well was dug out and casing cut off 3 feet below GL and topped off with 0.313 cu yds(6.62 sks)of Portland IIN cement on 6/512019. A plugged and abandoned hole marker was installed per the Natural Soda UIC permit.
