Photo curtesy of Graham Roberts. <br /> <br />INSPECTION: <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Main haul roads and access roads were dry. Ash and spoil were being hauled and dumped. Coal was <br />being excavated and hauled. Two draglines were operating casting spoil, one dragline was idle. <br />Activities in the pit were observed. <br />Overburden and topsoil placement appear to be progressing adequately and as permitted. Reclamation <br />appeared to be progressing as per the permit. No offsite air quality issues were observed at the time of <br />inspection. Roads were being watered in the morning as well as the afternoon. No offsite hydrologic <br />impacts were noted at the time of inspection. <br />Roads were being watered.
