C-18
Oversize(Reject) Stockpile
The oversize stockpile will be situated proximal to the screening tower, which is to be located at the west
end of the drying plant. Oversize material (i.e., that greater than #40) from the screening process will be
stockpiled via a radial stacking conveyor unit. It is anticipated that the oversize stockpile will,at maximum
capacity, encompass an approximately 55-ft. diameter footprint.
Oversize material will be collected for the duration of the operational period, and it is anticipated that the
material will remain in-place until final site closure, at which time it will be utilized in site grading and/or
backfill activities.
Product Storage Bins
Two separate product storage bins (refer again to Figure C-7: Dry Plant and Loadout Facilities)will be
situated proximal to the southwest corner of the Permit Area. The bins will be connected to the screening
plant via twin 36-inch by 150-ft. telescoping stacking conveyor units which will convey dry product to the
12,000 tons (total capacity)twin storage bins.
The bins will be constructed atop timber or composite matting. Each storage bin will accommodate 6,000
tons of final product, and occupy an area approximately 85-ft.by 165-ft. Exterior walls will be constructed
of stacked precast concrete bin blocks to a nominal height of 6-ft. Each bin will be fully enclosed, with a
steel-framed, canvas-covered roof(or equivalent).
Loadout and Scale Facilities
The product storage bins are, in turn, connected to the loadout facility via twin conveyors which will be
utilized for direct loading(via front-end loader)of third-party owned, over-the-road(OTR) trucks.
Keenesburg Project—Limited Impact 110 Application_May 24,2019
