B-11
CSC's Keenesburg Project truck traffic will traverse the public portion of the road and will
ingress/egress the Permit Area at the existing gated entrance situated within the northeast quadrant of
the intersection of Weld County Roads 59 and 22. While the Permit Area boundary is within 200-ft.
of the privately-owned/maintained road (structure), all mine pit excavation and processing activities
will be sited interior to the Permit Area at a distance of at least 300-ft.to the east of the road(structure).
Due to the nature of planned mining activities(i.e.,no blasting is proposed;refer to Exhibit C:Mining
Plan),no adverse impact to the roadway is anticipated.
2) Gate Entry/Cattle guard
3) South-to-North Fence Line East of Weld County Road 59;
4) South-to-North Fence Line West of Weld County Road 59; and,
5) West-to-East Fence Line Coincident with Section 12 South Line
Guttersen Ranches LLC maintains a gated entry (with a coded entry/call-box feature) for its ranch
service road at this location. The entrance includes a cattle guard across the road and in-line with the
gate and fence line. With the exception of an approximately 120-ft. segment of tubular steel fencing
associated with the entry gate feature, each of the other fences is a four-strand barbed-wire fence with
wood posts, owned and maintained by Guttersen Ranches LLC. Each delineates the approximate
boundary of the Guttersen Ranches LLC holdings,and each serves to contain livestock within the ranch
property(ies).
While the Permit Area boundary is within 200-ft. of each of the structure(s), all mine pit excavation
and processing activities will be sited in excess of 250-ft. to the east of the south-north fence line(s);
and,approximately 120-ft.north of the west-east fence line,respectively. Due to the nature of planned
mining activities(i.e.,no blasting is proposed;refer to Exhibit C: Mining Plan),no adverse impact to
the gated entry or the respective fence lines is anticipated.
6) Natural Gas Pipeline(Northwest of Permit Area)—a buried/pressurized natural gas pipeline owned and
operated/maintained by Kerr McGee Gathering LLC. The dedicated pipeline easement (as recorded)
is 50 ft. in width(i.e.,nominally 25-ft. either side of the pipeline feature). The line extends diagonally
(southwest to northeast) across the entirety of Section 12; however, in the area proximal to the Permit
Area the associated easement, at its closest point, lies some 20- to 25-ft. to the northwest of the ranch
service road and the Permit Area's northwest boundary.
Keenesburg Project—Limited Impact 110 Application_May 24,2019
