PART I <br /> Permit No.: COR400000 <br /> Part I <br /> Note: At the first mention of terminology that has a specific connotation for the purposes of this permit, the <br /> terminology is electronically linked to the definitions section of the permit in Part I.E. <br /> A. COVERAGE UNDER THIS PERMIT <br /> 1. Authorized Discharges <br /> This general permit authorizes permittee(s) to discharge the following to state waters: <br /> stormwater associated with construction activity and specified non-stormwater associated <br /> with construction activity. The following types of stormwater and non-stormwater <br /> discharges are authorized under this permit: <br /> a. Allowable Stormwater Discharges <br /> i. Stormwater discharges associated with construction activity. <br /> ii. Stormwater discharges associated with producing earthen materials, such as soils, <br /> sand, and gravel dedicated to providing material to a single contiguous site, or <br /> within '/a mile of a construction site (i.e. borrow or fill areas) <br /> iii. Stormwater discharges associated with dedicated asphalt, concrete batch plants <br /> and masonry mixing stations (Coverage under this permit is not required if <br /> alternative coverage has been obtained.) <br /> b. Allowable Non-Stormwater Discharges <br /> The following non-stormwater discharges are allowable under this permit if the <br /> discharges are identified in the stormwater management plan in accordance with Part <br /> I.C. and if they have appropriate control measures in accordance with Part I.B.I. <br /> i. Discharges from uncontaminated springs that do not originate from an area of land <br /> disturbance. <br /> ii. Discharges to the ground of concrete washout water associated with the washing of <br /> concrete tools and concrete mixer chutes. Discharges of concrete washout water <br /> must not leave the site as surface runoff or reach receiving waters as defined by <br /> this permit. <br /> iii. Discharges of landscape irrigation return flow. <br /> c. Emergency Fire Fighting <br /> Discharges resulting from emergency firefighting activities are authorized by this <br /> permit. <br /> 2. Limitations on Coverage <br /> Discharges not authorized by this permit include, but are not limited to, the discharges <br /> and activities listed below. Permittees may seek individual or alternate general permit <br /> coverage for the discharges, as appropriate and available. <br /> a. Discharges of Non-Stormwater <br /> Page 1 of 33 <br />
