i. Rip-Rap Sediment Outlets-Rip Rap outlets may need to be installed in areas that
will receive a majority of the sites potential runoff. The goal of these
sediment traps will be to filter out any sediment before the water leaves the
site. The traps will be monitored carefully to ensure there is no buildup of
sediment within the trap allowing it to remain functioning properly.
As the plan currently sits, no drainage or conveyance structures, such as culverts, will be
needed in regards to the access roads within the proposed mine disturbances. The area
where the access roads will be located sheet flow naturally. Our access roads will not affect
this drainage as they run in parallel to the existing drainage patterns.
Water Usage
During the operation of the proposed mine, water will be used primarily to control fugitive dust.
This includes controlling dust within the pit's mining footprint.
Water needs for the proposed mine are anticipated to be small and will more than likely only
require a water truck to water the area at a frequency determined by daily conditions.Owner will
ensure the area remains adequately watered to avoid any complaints or violations of laws or
regulations that govern an operation such as this.
Use of Explosives
No explosives will used at any point in this proposed pit.No further information needed.
;4
