1. Please provide the legal location of the proposed project and submit a site map that clearly
delineates the location of the proposed extraction site and the location of the nearest city, town,
and county location name.
As stated in my Mining Claim number MCM287911, the location coordinates are:
Section: 35
Township: 15 South
Range: 76 West
Prime Meridian: 6
County: Park
See the attached maps
Direction and miles to nearest town/city
Hartsel is the nearest town and is approximately 30 miles to the North of the site.
2. Is the site of material extraction on public or privately-owned property?
No, not on private land. This is land managed by the BLM.
3. What type(s) of material or metal is/are proposed to be extracted and describe the physical
nature of the site i.e., river terrace, rocky knob, in-stream gravel deposit, etc.?
We are lookingJor gem-quality minerals in soil which will require the dirt to be dug up
and sifted. The sifting is designed to help us locate pieces of the mineral that are large
enough to add to our collection. I would classify the site as a knoll, i.e., a relatively flat,
baron area between two hill tops. I would further classify the ground to be top soil and
other unknown layers of soil of an unknown depth. Pine trees surround the target area
but are not in the target prospecting area.
4. What processing or extraction method(s) will be used on site? Include any equipment or
chemical(s)that will be used in the processing and extraction of the materials.
The equipment used will include, among other similar tools, long handle garden-type
shovels, picks and rakes, along with hand trowels, sifters and one or more sifting buckets
or pails. Soil removed by long-handle garden shovel will be sifted and then returned to
the hole it came from.
5. Will the extracted material be hauled offsite or used on the same parcel of property where the
material is extracted?
Any extracted material will be put in our pockets or a zip lock quart-size bag and taken
with us. It will not be used on site.
6. How will the extracted material be used on site?
The extracted material will be added to our displayed collection of Colorado minerals.
Further, the extent of the extracted material will be used to determine if it economically
Page 2 of 12
