20. This property is fairly flat with slopes facing East on the East side of the mining <br /> area. It is the intent to excavate the property so as not to allow any runoff from <br /> excavated area and not intersect any natural drainage ways. Adequate temporary <br /> berms (as shown on Exhibit EāMining Plan Map), will be performed on the <br /> north and west sides of the mining areas to insure runoff water will be contained <br /> in the pit floor. The pit floor material is granular and water will percolate into the <br /> pit floor. Should it become necessary silt fences will be used as required along <br /> with berm maintenance. Runoff from water outside the excavation area, if <br /> necessary, will be diverted to its normal runoff pattern. <br /> 21. The operation will not affect any Colorado water laws or regulations governing <br /> injury to existing water rights. No ponds will remain to evaporate water, nor will <br /> any water course be interrupted. No change in the runoff pattern will result. <br /> 22. No explosives will be required in the mining operation. <br />
