Overburden is being moved with a truck and shovel operation. Spoil is <br />then being transported to the temporary spoil pile discussed earlier in this report. The box cut is approximately 40 <br />feet in depth and no coal has been mined. No issues observed. <br /> <br />Collom Pit. <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and <br />(6)/4.03.2(5) and (6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Main haul roads and primary operational use roads were well maintained and plowed. Some secondary access <br />roads were inaccessible due to snow and muddy conditions. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />Both the East and West Pit were inspected from overlooks. Due to muddy conditions and snow cover, access to <br />each pit was limited. Overall, both pit reclamation remains stable. No major signs of erosion, slumping or <br />concerns were observed. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />A rill was observed along the upper portion of the East Pit reclamation just prior to the Final East Pit Ditch. The <br />mine representatives were informed and the rill was added to their maintenance agenda once ground conditions <br />allow access.
