Asphalt Specialties Co., Inc. (ASCI) is submitting this Technical Revision No. 2 (TR-02) to update
Exhibit C-2 — Mine Plan Map for the Nelson Mining Resource (Site). During 2017 and 2018, Kerr-
McGee Oil & Gas Onshore LP (a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation [APQ plugged
and abandoned (P&A) two (2) oil & gas wells and removed the associated flow lines. In addition to
revising the Mine Plan Map, ASCI is submitting an update to Exhibit D — Mining Plan Section (e)
Approximate Mining Timetable to reflect the current conditions and anticipated mining schedule.
ASCI is also submitting an updated Exhibit F —Reclamation Plan Map to reflect the well P&A/flow
line removal activities.
6.4.3 EXHIBIT C-2 MINE PLAN MAP
As a result of the P&A and removal activities, ASCI is executing its option to mine sand and gravel
in these areas since oil & gas operations are no longer occurring and the potential for impacts is
minimal. The following features have been revised on the Exhibit C-2—Mine Plan Map for the Site.
NELSON 9-31A Well: Located at the north end of the Site in Cell A near the Cell B
boundary, the well has been P&A. The associated flow line and equipment (e.g., tanks and
separator) have been removed. The 75-foot mining setback and 200-foot backfill radii have
also been removed as they are not currently applicable.
HAROLD NELSON UNIT A TRUE 1 Well: Located at the western boundary of Cell A
slightly south of the middle line, the well has been P&A. The associated flow line and
equipment (e.g., tanks and separator) have been removed. The 75-foot mining setback and
200-foot backfill radii have also been removed as they are not currently applicable.
