Table G-2 Mining Water Consumption
Annual Water Consumption
Dust control 14 Ac-ft
Crushing and Screening 7 Ac-ft
Wash Plant 7 Ac-ft
Total 28 Ac-ft
5. Floodplain
A portion of the mining will take place within the 100-YR floodplain. This will be in the latter
years of mining, as shown on Map C-2B. The floodplain in this area is Zone A, and therefore
there are no FEMA mapped base flood elevations. The mining operation will not create a pit or
depression for floodwaters to interact with, and thus there is no risk of pit capture by flooding.
Any flooding onsite from the creek will only flow across the reclaimed meadow, before draining
back to the creek.
DMR CrM Ir iekf and Aea Wtes,?IIA'
February 2019 G-5
