Photo 4: The DP-1 Pond. <br /> <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES – Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> Refuse Piles 2/3/4and 5a were visited during the inspection. RP -2/3/4 was covered with snow and stable. <br />There were no erosional features observed. At the time of the inspection refuse was b eing stockpiled on top of <br />RP -5a. The pile was mostly covered with snow. There w ere no indications of instability or erosion. <br /> <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and <br />(6)/4.03.2(5) and (6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Access roads throughout the mine site w ere well maintained and in good condition. Minimal rutting and <br />ponding of water on the roads was observed. The haul road was in good repair. The supporting drainage ditches <br />were clear of debris and functioning as designed. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> Support facilities inspected included: <br /> <br />- Slot Storage <br />- Nitrogen Plant #1 <br />- RDH-4 <br />- RDH-3 <br />- Main Facilities Area <br />- Conveyor Corridor <br /> <br />Pads for the support facilities were in good condition.
