3.02 SURFACE WATER <br /> Controlling,routing,and storage of surface water and storm water shall be the responsibility of the L.G. <br /> Everist. The Mining Superintendent shall be responsible for constructing and maintaining any temporary <br /> channels,detention ponds,and dams. All surface water shall be controlled in a manner that prevents <br /> damage to any constructed items,items being constructed,or any neighboring structures or facilities. The <br /> water handling facilities shall prevent sediment transport onto neighboring properties. The storm water <br /> control measures shall not cause an increase in flooding to downstream or adjacent properties. <br /> L.G.Everist shall acquire any permits needed for handling surface waters during construction. <br /> END OF SECTION <br /> Section 02140-Page 2 of 2 7/10 <br />
