1.04 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM <br /> A. General <br /> The Mining Superintendent's quality control system is the means by which he assures <br /> himself that his construction complies with the requirements of the contract documents. Controls <br /> shall be adequate to cover all construction operations and shall be keyed to the embankment slope <br /> liner construction schedule. <br /> B. Records <br /> The Mining Superintendent shall maintain correct records on an appropriate form for all <br /> inspections and tests performed, instructions received from the Design Engineer and actions taken <br /> as a result of those instructions. These records shall include evidence that the required inspections <br /> or tests have been performed(including type and number of inspections or tests,nature of defects, <br /> causes for rejection,etc.),proposed or directed remedial action,and corrective action taken. The <br /> Mining Superintendent shall document inspections and tests as required by each section of the <br /> specifications. A file containing the testing records shall be maintained in the Mining <br /> Superintendent's site office. These records shall be updated daily or as required based on the pace <br /> of construction.
