Daily Report PON <br /> VLF2 Crushed Ore Stockpile Removal <br /> 475.0106.030 ■ <br /> December 06,2018 <br /> 3.0 COMMUNICATIONS AND MEETINGS <br /> Attended the daily morning safety meeting conducted by Ames in the field at 064S hrs. <br /> Morning discussion with Kevin of Ames. Ames to performed pothole excavations at the <br /> locations identified by the surveyor. Ames to use a rubber blade attachment on the bucket <br /> of the excavator being used for potholing. Ames to remove the drainage cover fill (DCF) to <br /> approximately 4-inches above the synthetic liner using the excavator and the spotters would <br /> expose the synthetic liner with a square shovel with extreme care. <br /> Jofree Duran and Trevor Elentraas with Newmont Geotechnical Engineering where on site to <br /> inspect ongoing potholing activity. Discussed safety operating procedures and ongoing <br /> activity with Ames and CQA personnel. No issues have been encountered at this point. <br /> Jofree stated that a follow up inspection of the synthetic liner by the state regulators would <br /> not be required and that upon completion of the NewFields CQA inspection it would be <br /> appropriate to proceed with the backfill of the potholes. <br /> 4.0 PHOTO <br /> -M.. ; <br /> '7 1;, <br /> .sue <br /> Figure 1.
