Rock slopes scattered in SF -aspen stands at upper elevations in and adjacent to <br />lease modification areas. <br />WILDLIFE <br />THREATENED AND ENDANGERED SPECIES <br />No T & E species listed by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) or Colorado Parks & <br />Wildlife (CPW) were observed during habitat and wildlife surveys in the project area <br />during the four years of surveys. <br />Canada lynx is the only federally listed species that has the potential to be found in the <br />project areas. Other species that were considered are shown in Table 1. None of these <br />species occur in the project area and no habitat for them will be impacted by the project. <br />These species have not been analyzed in this document. <br />The yellow -billed cuckoo and Gunnison sage grouse are listed as federal candidate <br />species. There is no suitable habitat for the yellow -billed cuckoo or Gunnison sage grouse <br />in the area. <br />The boreal toad is listed as endangered by the CPW.
