HARD ROCK / METAL MINING
LIMITED IMPACT OPERATION (110(2))
RECLAMATION PERMIT APPLICATION
For the Ten Percenter Claim (CMC254209)
M-2018-036
BLM CMC254209
USFS File Code 2810
USFS 2810-021210-MPO 2018-004
6.3.4 EXHIBIT D
Revised Reclamation Plan
Introduction:
Excavation at the Ten Percenter will be conducted in as safe and environmentally responsible
manner as possible. Reclamation will be an ongoing part of the work. Only one excavation
area is planned to be active at any one time, e.g., 4.10 Upper Area, during 2018. Only one
trench or equipment-dug excavation will be open at one time, as the disturbance will be re-
contoured prior to moving to the next area of excavation. At no time will more than 2 acres of
open excavations (topsoil replacement area) be allowed. Trenches and excavations will be
recontoured and reclaimed as each trench is completed. The maximum disturbance open at
one time within the Affected/Permit Area should not exceed 2.00 acres of topsoil replacement
area or 1,000 yards of overburden backfill at any one time, prior to reclamation (surface
recontouring, topsoil replacement, raking and replacement of felled trees and boulders moved
during operations).
In general, if promising pegmatites are encountered in limited cross-cut trenching, the area to
be trenched will be worked generally from one lower side, across the planned area by first
clearing topsoil and placing it above the area of the cut, then trenching across the slope cutting
a small bench. Once sufficient area has been trenched, continued trenching will back fill the
original space trenched so that the work will proceed as a cut and fill operation, cutting in front
and filling behind. In this way, large dumps will be avoided and reclamation efforts will be
reduced as the backfill, though rough, will be already replaced into the trenched area. Final
recontouring, raking and seeding will be all that would remain after backfill from this type of
excavation.
Seeding would occur normally by late autumn so seed has the best chance for growth the
following spring. The year after an area has been reseeded and growth has begun, any trees
and shrubs planned for the site will then be planted. These sites will be continuously monitored
for growth. If necessary, re-seeding will be accomplished until good growth and revegetation
has been established and is successful.
Reclamation Permit Application for Ten Percenter Claim BLM CMC254209
USFS File Code 2810,USFS MPO-2018-004
