Minor Revision No. 55 was issued on March 1, 2016. The revision approved the addition of the <br />surface water monitoring point 004 to the hydrologic monitoring program as per the terms of the <br />discharge permit CO0038342. <br />Minor Revision No. 56 was issued on February 13, 2017. The revision updated the Identification <br />of Interests section of the permit. <br />Minor Revision No. 57 was issued on June 19, 2017. The revision updated the Identification of <br />Interests section of the permit. <br />Minor Revision No. 58 was issued on January 2, 2018. The revision approved the transfer of a <br />reclaimed emergency drill pad and associated light use road from the McClane Canyon permit to <br />the Munger Canyon Permit (C1981-020). <br />Minor Revision No. 59 was issued on March 12, 2018. The revision updated the Identification <br />of Interests section of the permit. <br />Technical Revision No. 17 was issued on December 9, 2015. The revision approved an update <br />to the sedimentation control plan for outfall 003, placing a silt fence below the construction <br />materials stockpile in order to be in compliance with 40 CFR Part 434 Subpart H, CDPHE <br />discharge permit C00038342. <br />Technical Revision No. 18 was issued on August 21, 2018. The revision approved the <br />elimination of the alluvial well GW -3 from the mine's hydrologic monitoring program and also <br />approved the reclamation of GW -3. GW -3 was installed to monitor future Munger Canyon Mine <br />disturbances. Since the Munger Canyon Mine was in the process of achieving phase III bond <br />release and termination of Division jurisdiction, monitoring well GW -3 was removed from the <br />Munger Canyon Mine's permit through TR -29. Additionally, well GW -9 serves as the McClane <br />Canyon Mine's down gradient monitoring well. <br />Permit Revision No. 2 was issued on March 11, 2017. The revision approved an expansion for <br />the McClane Canyon Mine. The permit acreage increased by 2,560.5 acres. <br />Status of Stipulations <br />The stipulation history for the McClane Canyon Mine was reviewed with this renewal <br />application. The review included an investigation of any stipulations imposed, and any <br />responses to existing stipulations received since the last midterm review. Any stipulations <br />associated with this permit and issued over the life of this operation which are not discussed in <br />this midterm review have been complied with or terminated. <br />STIPULATION NO. 27: <br />SEDIMENT REMOVED FROM THE SEDIMENT POND MAY BE USED AS A <br />TOPDRESSING OR TOPSOIL SUPPLEMENT PURSUANT TO RULE 4.06.2(4)(A), UPON <br />SUBMITTAL OF CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL ANALYSES DEMONSTRATING THAT <br />THE MATERIAL IS EQUAL TO OR MORE SUITABLE FOR SUSTAINING VEGETATION <br />THAN AVAILABLE TOPSOIL OR OTHER PLANT GROWTH MEDIA. SUCH <br />DEMONSTRATION SHALL BE BASED ON A REPRESENTATIVE COMPOSITE SAMPLE <br />OF THE MATERIAL OBTAINED FROM EACH POND CLEANOUT EPISODE. <br />
