They have completed one lift on the southwest side, compacted,
and conducted compaction tests. Work is progressing to the next “cell” to the east on this south
side of the pile.

No new activity has occurred on Gob Pile #2. “Waterbars”/channels have been cut into the exposed refuse
material on the top of the pile to direct runoff to the established ditches, and benches in an effort to reduce
channeling and down-cutting over the winter months. This method appears to have functioned well over the
recent precipitation events.

ROADS – Rule 4.03
Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6):
Roads throughout the facilities area, and Gob Pile areas have been maintained and are in good condition.

REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15
Vegetative Cover; Timing:
Basil indicated that they have sprayed for Jointed goatgrass near the pump house and other locations
previously identified within the permit area.
