No slopes are expected to exceed 3H:1V and should be less than 3H:ly. The plan is to return
the site to its pre-disturbance topography.
(2) When backfilling is apart of the plan, the Operator shall replace overburden and
waste materials in the mined area and shall ensure adequate compaction for stability and
to prevent leaching of toxic or acid-forming materials.
No backfilling will be needed. The plan is to remove the waste material down to the original
topography.
(3) All grading shall be done in a manner to control erosion and siltation of the
affected lands, to protect areas outside the affected land from slides and other damage. If
not eliminated, all highwalls shall be stabilized
There will be no highwalls.
(4) All backfilling and grading shall be completed as soon as feasible after the
mining process. The Operator shall establish reasonable timetables consistent with good
mining and reclamation procedures.
No significant grading will be required. It may be necessary to smooth the surface of the
cleaned site in order to complete site reclamation.
(5) All refuse and acid forming or toxic producing materials that have been mined
shall be handled and disposed of in a manner that will control unsightliness and protect
the drainage system from pollution.
No material will be mined. We plan to remove all the waste dump material which is
accessible and will not subject our operators and equipment to an unsafe condition.
(6) Any drill or auger holes that are part of the mining operation shall be plugged
with non-combustible material, which shall prevent harmful or polluting drainage. Adits
and shafts should be closed, and where practicable, backfilled and graded in a manner
consistent with the post mine land use and shall comply with the provisions of the Act,
Mineral Rules and Regulation.
No drill or auger holes are planned.
(7) Maximum slopes and slope combination shall be compatible with the
configuration of surrounding conditions and selected land use.
All final slopes will be as they existed prior to the creation of the waste dump.
44
